Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Lily who lived in a small town. Lily loved to play in the woods behind her house. One day, she was playing in the woods when she came across a strange old house. The house was old and run-down, and it looked like it had been abandoned for years. Lily was curious about the house, so she decided to explore it. She opened the door and stepped inside. The house was dark and dusty, and it smelled like something had died. Lily walked through the house, and she saw that it was filled with old furniture and strange objects. In one room, Lily found a book of spells. She opened the book and started to read. As she read, she began to feel strange. She felt like she was being watched. Lily turned around, and she saw a figure standing in the doorway. The figure was tall and thin, and it had long, dark hair. The figure’s eyes were glowing red, and it had a smile that made Lily’s blood run cold. Lily screamed and ran out of the house. She ran all the way home, and she didn’t stop running until she was safe inside. Lily told her parents what had happened, but they didn’t believe her. They said that she had just imagined the figure. But Lily knew what she had seen. She knew that the figure was real, and she knew that it was dangerous. Lily couldn’t stop thinking about the figure. She was afraid to go back into the woods, but she couldn’t let the figure get away with what it had done. The next day, Lily went back to the woods. She was determined to find out what the figure was. Lily walked up to the house and knocked on the door. The door opened, and the figure stood there. “Who are you?” Lily asked. “I am the ghost of the house,” the figure said. “I have been waiting for someone like you.” “What do you want?” Lily asked. “I want you to help me,” the figure said. “I need someone to free me from this curse.” “What curse?” Lily asked. “I was once a beautiful woman,” the figure said. “But I was cursed by a witch. The witch said that I would be trapped in this house for eternity, unless someone could find the key to the curse.” “I’ll help you,” Lily said. Lily and the figure spent the day searching the house for the key. They looked everywhere, but they couldn’t find it. Just when they were about to give up, Lily found something strange in the attic. It was a small, wooden box. Lily opened the box, and she found a key inside. “This is it!” Lily said. “This is the key to the curse!” Lily gave the key to the figure. The figure took the key and held it in its hand. Suddenly, the figure started to glow. The glow grew brighter and brighter, until it was blinding. When the glow faded, the figure was gone. Lily looked around, but she didn’t see the figure anywhere. Lily was happy that she had helped the figure. She knew that she would never forget her adventure in the haunted mansion. The End
